Me and the work<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Following a 30 year career in theater making and pyrotechnics, I developed a new practice designing and making sculpture and unusual furniture. Taken from my original company\u2019s logo, the practice is titled Hero\u2019s Engine Works, with a studio and workshop located in the middle of the Peak District National Park.<\/p>

I make sculpture inspired by the flora and fauna of the Peak District. Formed in metals using armourer, jeweller and engineering techniques to create one of a kind, charismatic sculpture for indoor and outdoor spaces. Each piece takes over 100 hours of work and study, from the drawing stage to the final patination and lacquer.<\/p>

New work can be commissioned and the pieces in sales and commissions are available for purchase or unique versions can be commissioned on request.<\/p>
